7 courses to start earning your bartender stripes

Singapore has a bursting drinks scene with many bars and bartenders pushing the boundaries. From cocktails inspired by local and Southeast Asian flavours (Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall) to drinks made from locally foraged ingredients like ants (Native Bar), there are tons of new flavours to try for those who fancy a tipple or two.

Then there are those who are keen to cross the bar and make the drinks. If that’s you, you’d be happy to know that there are courses that you can take to learn the fine art of bartending! See our course list below.

*All course fees are in SGD. All fees are up to date as of August 2019. Participants of such programmes must be at least 18 years old (the legal drinking age in Singapore). This list is in no way an endorsement, so do enquire/do your research to find out if a course you like fits your needs.
