Formed in 1992, ChESS stood for Chemical and Environmental Engineering Students’ Society (ChESS) which served the Chemical and Environmental Engineering student body. In 2004, the two engineering fields formed their respective departments and ChESS has served the Chemical Engineering student body ever since. Now ChESS stands for Chemical Engineering Students’ Society.
