JAC stands for Japanese Appreciation Club ( 日本愛好会 Nihon Aikokai in romaji). The club was formed by 6 Japanese culture loving students in September 1996. A month long emersion to Tokyo left them with great passion for the Japanese culture, arts and its language made them eager to share their new found passion with fellow students in NTU through the club.
