JobsCentral Career and Education Fair
- Held annually (last held Aug 2018)
Chances are, you’ve used JobsCentral’s portal to find internships or part time jobs at least once in your life. Go one step further in your search by heading down to their job fair! Held since 2006, the fair brings both employers and educational institutes together over 2 days of events. Fair highlights include a Career Summit with talks held by top professionals, covering topics like how to future-proof your career or the types of perfume you can wear to work, and info sessions for those keen on pursuing further studies. Do note that registration is necessary and that the first three hours are exclusive to Singaporeans and PRs.

STJobs Career and Development Fair
- Held annually (last held Jul 2018)
Singapore’s largest career fair with over 100 participating companies, previous runs have included free career coaching booths and workshops for self-improvement in organized zones, as well as resume clinics! Previous employers include companies such as DBS Bank, MBS, and MNCs. Boasting thousands of job openings ranging from entry to mid-career levels, across various industries such as engineering and nursing, the first day is open only to Singaporeans and PRs. Admission is free.

ASEAN Career Fair with Japan
- Inaugural (Jan 2019)
Want to broaden your horizons and embark on an international career? Head down to fairs such as the ASEAN Career Fair with Japan! Held yearly, it invites graduating students and graduates from participating ASEAN universities (across all disciplines and degree levels) to take part. The fair is free. 20 Japanese companies will be present and applications must be made: this not a walk-in event. Industries covered include IT, banking, marketing, and engineering and manufacturing, just to name a few.

Startup Career Fair

Game on working at a start-up and experiencing a different environment? Then you shouldn’t miss this career fair! Organised by the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), the most recent edition had over 65 startups present and over 250 job positions on offer. Roles are across all levels, ranging from internships to senior positions suitable for mid career switchers.

IAS Career Fair
- Held annually (last held Feb 2018)
Specifically open only to recently graduated students (including polytechnic students) and undergraduates, the IAS Career Fair is the fair to go to for those keen on a career in Marketing and Communications as copywriters, account directors, and so on! Exhibitors include leading agencies such as Publicis, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Oglivy& Mather – and what we find particularly interesting is an open house event that allows you to have first-hand experience of the day-to-day roles within the organization you are eyeing. Marketing & Communications is an industry that is fast-paced and exciting, so if you thrive under pressure do head down to explore what’s open to you!

Built Environment Career and Education Fair

Singapore is always changing and developing. More BTO flats and housing are being built to accommodate a growing population, and urban planning is always happening to build a more sustainable Singapore, for example. The Built Environment industry is thus robust and challenging. Being one of the clusters slated for Industry Transformation by the Ministry of Trade and Industry Singapore, you can anticipate more exciting opportunities to be opened up to you. If this piques your interest, look out for the annual fair! Held both physically and virtually, the event includes talks by industry insiders, schools, with over 30 participating firms such as Sembcorp, Otis, and Keppel.

E2i Aerospace Career Fair
- Upcoming: 1 Nov 2018
Open to all Singaporeans, this fair is organised by E2i (the Employment and Employability Institute) and will take place from 10am-4pm. Registration closes on the 29th of October and participating companies include Honeywell Aerospace Singapore, Thales, ST Engineering Aerospace, Diethelm Keller Aviation, and so on. Actuarial Undergraduate Career Fair

Actuarial Science (the application of mathematical and statistical methods to assess risk in financial situations) is a fairly niche industry. If you are a business undergraduate considering becoming an actuary, the fair organises breakout sessions where companies introduce their professions by discipline/areas of focus (life/consulting/general insurance) – get insider knowledge of the industry to help you decide!
