SPECIALIST DIPLOMA IN DIGITAL MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT


Course Description

This course aims to provide the relevant knowledge and skills for business related diploma graduates to enter into the rapidly growing digital marketing & communication services domain areas. The skillsets acquired will be relevant for a range of companies within the Consumer Business and Content & Media industries defined by EDB.

Assessment will be based on a combination of coursework components such as written and practical tests, case studies, assignments and projects.

Course Objectives

Upon completing this course, graduates will be able to undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Formulate digital marketing and communication strategy;
  • Recommend and produce relevant digital marketing & communication content;
  • Execute digital marketing related activities and campaign.

Certification

To be awarded the Specialist Diploma in Digital Marketing & Communication Management, students are required to complete 3 modules at TP within a semester and 4 modules at SMU within another semester. The Specialist Diploma in Digital Marketing & Communication Management will be jointly awarded by TP and SMU to participants who have successfully completed and obtained a pass grade for the 7 modules.

Target Audience

  • Graduates with relevant diplomas keen to deepen their knowledge in Digital Marketing & Communication;
  • Diploma graduates employed by companies to perform digital & social media marketing and communication related jobs.

Pre-requisites

At least a Polytechnic diploma, with holders of other equivalent academic qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Course Fee

For Temasek Polytechnic’s PDC, students will have to pay SGD 410.88 per semester for Singaporeans aged 40 and below, and SGD 282.40 for Singaporeans above 40. Permanent residents will pay SGD 1,104.24. Those under the Workfare Training Scheme or are SME-sponsored pay a reduced fee of SGD 155.88 and SGD 290.88 respectively.

The PDC is SkillsFuture Credit claimable.
